Marwest Advisory was created to close real gaps we saw across both commercial real estate and the broader proptech ecosystem. On the investment side, there remains a clear lack of modern tools and truly data-driven processes. Institutional firms still rely on dated workflows and fragmented insights, often missing opportunities or misjudging risk. We help clients operate with greater clarity by layering thoughtful analysis, underwriting discipline, and tech-enabled visibility into every deal.
In the Proptech space, we’ve observed a different, but equally costly, gap: strategy that’s disconnected from how the real estate world actually works. Founders and teams often have ambitious visions but lack the market nuance to build products, pricing, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with the industry. We bring hands-on real estate experience to strategic planning, helping early-stage and growth companies refine their models and scale with purpose.

Our Founder
Biography:
Daniel Kiachko is the founder of Marwest Advisory. His career spans both sides of the real estate equation: institutional investing and proptech strategy. He has managed and underwritten over $200M in commercial real estate assets, and led financing and closing across dozens of complex transactions during his time in private equity. He developed a strong focus on execution; whether that meant navigating diligence, structuring deals, or supporting asset management through turbulent markets.
That same execution mindset followed him into the technology world, where he joined LightBox to help build data and SaaS solutions for capital markets. There, he worked across product, pricing, and growth strategy - supporting rollout to institutional investors, lenders, and brokerage teams. He later expanded into revenue strategy and sales enablement, collaborating with senior leadership on how to bring new tools to market with real-world traction.
Daniel brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by his experience as an investor, operator, and strategist. He founded Marwest Advisory to partner closely with clients, translating complex ideas into actionable strategies, and driving clarity in execution.
He holds degrees in Finance and Real Estate from Boston University and is based in New York City.
